RendiQ

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Rendiq. Please read them before creating an account or buying a plan.

Last updated October 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Rendiq (“Rendiq”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Julie Winstanley, trading as Rendiq, based in the United Kingdom. When you use Rendiq or buy a plan, you are contracting with Julie Winstanley.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, buying a plan, or continuing to use Rendiq, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract, and if you are using Rendiq for an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

3. What Rendiq does

Rendiq takes a short-form video you upload and helps you produce multiple strategically different versions of it — generating on-screen text and captions with AI, selecting moments from your footage, and rendering finished MP4 files through a third-party rendering service.

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping the information you give us accurate and up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Rendiq to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person or business;
  • interfere with the security of the service — including malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing usage limits or technical restrictions;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service; or
  • create illegal content, deepfakes of real people without their consent, hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or content designed to deceive about health, finance or elections.

6. AI-generated content

Rendiq uses AI to draft hooks, captions and on-screen text, and to suggest clips from your footage. You are responsible for what you upload, for the prompts and product facts you supply, and for checking every output before you publish it.

  • AI output can be inaccurate or misleading. It is not professional, medical, legal or financial advice, and must not be published as such without your own review and, where relevant, qualified oversight.
  • You must hold the rights to any footage, audio, product information, names or logos you upload. You keep ownership of your input and of the finished videos you produce, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process that material solely to provide the service.
  • Rights holders can report infringing content to us using the contact route below; we will review it and remove content where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will be suspended or closed.
  • We may filter, refuse, restrict or remove content and outputs that breach these terms.

7. Plans, payment and billing

Rendiq plans are sold as monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Each paid plan includes an allowance of finished creation minutes per billing period, as shown on the pricing page and in your account. Usage is metered by the total duration of the finished videos you generate, so longer videos use more of your allowance than shorter ones. Optional extra creation-minute packs can be bought separately as one-off purchases. New accounts also get a one-time trial of 5 free watermarked videos, available once per verified account or email address; it is not a recurring monthly allowance.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Billing questions, invoices and refunds are handled by us directly at hello@getrendiq.com.

Stripe acts only as a payment processor for Rendiq. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and Stripe’s own terms and privacy policies apply to the handling of your payment information. Your subscription, cancellation and refund rights are governed by these terms and Rendiq’s stated refund policy, not by Stripe. Refunds are given only where required by applicable law or where Rendiq’s published refund policy expressly allows. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

8. Service level

We work to keep Rendiq available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Rendering depends on third-party infrastructure, and maintenance or outages may occasionally affect availability.

9. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of Rendiq itself — the software, interface, documentation and branding. Your plan grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the limits of that plan.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first. When your account ends you can request an export of your saved work for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of outputs, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a business sale or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
